1849 Smelters' Home is an intriguing heritage building with many treasures.

Repair a Chair is from 11:30am-2:30pm on Tuesday May 13, 2025. Participants are invited to choose a period piece of furniture to repair or restore. With such a wide variety of chairs on offer, there's a chair and a job to suit a range of interests and skills. Materials and tools will be provided. Repaired chairs may be purchased or donated back to Smelters' Home for another life. There is no cost for this event however donations are appreciated.
